Can UPA Travel without its Cycle????

With the Trinamool’s flower losing its fragrance and the DMK’s sun being set can the UPA travel in the dark without Samajwadi Party’s Cycle? The answer is absolutely no. Samajwadi party led by Uttar Pradesh CM

Akhilesh Yadav backs the current UPA government with its 21 MP’s. After the recent break up between UPA and DMK regarding the Sri Lankan issue the central government cannot afford to lose the support of Samajwadi party.

Troubles doesn’t seem to end for UPA as all their allied parties have expressed dissatisfaction in the functions of the government. Let it be TMC’s concen over the FDI in retail issue or DMK’s issue over the draft resolution, they have lost their major supporter’s.  The current scenario of the Lok Sabha is:

    Current Members:
    Indian National Congress: 202
    National Congress Party: 9
    Rashtriya Lok Dal: 5
    Others :16

    Supporting Members:
    Samajwadi Party: 22
    Bahujan Samaj Party: 21
    Rashtriya Janata Dal: 4
    Janata Dal Secular: 3
    Communist Party of India:
    Communist Party of India-Marxist
The recent tensions between Samajwadi Party and UPA regarding the CBI enquiry  hinted at the former’s withdrawal of support from the Government. Especially after Union Congress minister Beni Prasad Verma’s repeated attacks of words with Mulayam Singh Yadav, the situation have become increasingly embarrassing for the UPA. UPA was fortunate enough that Akhilesh and Mulayam took the words of Beni Prasad Verma in good spirits and they stressed that they are going to support the UPA till the completion of their term.
