Every true Delhite has a Delly Belly. Why shouldn’t one when we get the best food in each and every nook and corner of the city.
Intact I love delhi for its food the most. The chaat paadis, gol gappas, roadside momos with extra hot chutney or the fine dining restaurants, but today I am not going to talk about this, instead about the buffet restaurants and culture developing in Delhi and around.
My first encounter was 3 years back in Barbeque Nation Janak Puri and it was one to remember. Based on an amazing concept, live grill on your table. What could be better than that on a Winter night.
They’ve got amazing starters man, what prawns and fish. Just a week back visited the Vasant Kunj branch of BBQN which opened recently and had chili fish there for the first time and the experience was such that I am definitely going to have it each and every time!
The restaurant serves unlimited food spread over 3 courses, starters followed by main and then deserts.
Pricing being very economical varying from 500 to 700 varying on day and time of visit.
1. Haryali fish
4. CHILLI FISH
5. Chilli chicken
Pirates of Grill
The main course here is better than what is served in BBQ Nation. In starters what I have loved the most here is its Chilly Chicken and somehow here the vegetarian starters are much better that the non veg snacks overall.
The pricing is 50-100 less than BBQ Nation and has just 2 outlets till now, one in Rajouri Garden and the other in Gurgaon.

First things first, IGR can not be compared to the above two, the concept is more or less the same but everything else is not!
The moment I stepped in IGR for the first time it was divine. It has seating, serving, plating, ambiance and look of a proper fine dining restaurant.Their service is amazing!
My favourite over here is the Galouti Kebab served with ulta tawa parantha. They are the best Galouti Kebabs I have ever tasted in my life and I being a foodie have had them at many places. Their fish is amazing, really soft and very well marinated and seasoned. For vegetarians too, they have the Kebabs which too are pretty good, nice paneer tikka!
In the main course, I really advice their Biryani and butter chicken. They also serve pretty decent and better than most of the places Dal Makhani.
And this is the first Restaurant where I was served freshly prepared Roomali Roti which is a must try!
Now this place is priced between 900-1100 per person and trust me it is not over priced.
