We’ve seen grand launches of iPhones and Samsung Notes in the past, but the one we saw yesterday was pretty impressive as per our Indian standards. The Asus Zen Festival was held in New Delhi at the Jawaharlal Stadium on 6th August; wherein they launched three high-function smartphones and a tablet. The stars of the show were:
Let’s start with the star attraction –SONAKSHI SINHA! Just kidding, the Asus ZenFone 2 Deluxe.
ASUS ZENFONE 2 DELUXE
Display: 5.5 inch (Big enough to be called a Phablet)
Processor: 2.3 GHz
Front Camera: 5 MegaPixel Pixel Master Camera (Apparently the best in the business)
Resolution: 1080×1920 pixels #OldSchool
RAM: 4GB (Get ready for lightening speed)
OS: Lollipop 5.0 (And here us Samsung users are struggling at a mediocre 4.4, after paying 40k. Four galore!)
Storage: 64 GB. That’s it, no 16, and no 32. Just a plain old 64GB storage. Memory cards are so passé. Just kidding! It’s available in 16 and 32 GBs respectively.
Rear Camera: 13MP. Now you’d think its boring, but its not. For the first time a phone has used Laser Auto-focus. Well well, I wonder if the laser can cut through glass…hm…
Price: ONLY 22,999 RUPEES! BEAT THAT iPhone
Battery Capacity: 3000mAH
This phone is said to be able to run 26 applications at the same time with no lag, whatsoever. Having used the proto-type displayed outside I was quite impressed by the speed. No lag get’s my knickers in a knot! And It truly is one of the front runners in the Phablet department. Let’s hope it get people off the Apple high. If you wish to purchase it, here’s a link below to our one true love – Flipkart and Snapdeal:

Without boring you with tedious details, let’s just have the images speak for themselves!

Now we come to a dream phone, a phone that has a dream camera for all you pouty chicks and swagger guys! Presenting the:
ASUS ZENFONE 2 SELFIE
Wait for it! And BAM! A 13MP front camera! Who does that?!
And here we go for the final straw:
So all in all it was a pretty good show where we laughed (Thanks to Cyrus Sahukar), filled our bellies with a warm meal and enjoyed the launch of three spectacular phones!
