Isabel Briggs Myers created 16 personality types based on the following 4 differences in people’s behavior. She wasn’t a psychologist as per se but her personality inventory is used by psychologists everywhere to generalize people’s behavior. I’ll be talking about them in a different way, a way that you can relate to each one of them. Have a look!
|E – Extraverted: Energised by spending time with others, or in active surroundings.||I – Introverted: energised by spending time alone, and quiet surroundings.|
|N – Intuitive : Pay less attention to facts and details and more to concepts and ideas||S – Sensing : pay attention to details, prefer experience hands on experience to ideas or concepts|
|F – Feeling : Base decisions on your values, and look for opportunities that strengthen relationships||T – Thinking : prioritize logic and reason over emotions|
|P – Perceiving: Keep options open, seek flexibility and spontaneity.||J – Judging : prefer structure and organisation, and always want to know what to expect|

ENFP– I’ll start with my type of course. They crave freedom, new ideas and creativity. Friendship is the institution built on trust and expectations. Can have emotional outbursts. Always dream about the mystical things in life.
ENFJ– Born leaders, they believe in people, and taking a stand about something. Many US Presidents are therefore ENFJs.
INFP– They are the poets, their ability to communicate deeply is what makes people love them. INFPs are dreamy idealists. Love All, Trust a Few, Do Wrong to None.
INFJ– The rarest type on earth but the most abundant in ED. See that’s why we are awesome. INFJs tend to see helping others as their purpose in life, but while people with this personality type can be found engaging rescue efforts and doing charity work, their real passion is to get to the heart of the issue so that people need not be rescued at all.
ESTJ– ESTJs are classic images of the model citizen: they help their neighbors, uphold the law, and try to make sure that everyone participates in the communities and organizations they hold so dear. What has worked and what has been done before.
ESTP – Entrepreneur: Smart, energetic and very perceptive people, who truly enjoy living on the edge. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.
ISTJ – My observation is that whenever one person is found adequate to the discharge of a duty… it is worse executed by two persons, and scarcely done at all if three or more are employed therein. The ISTJ personality type is thought to be the most abundant, making up around 13% of the population. Their defining characteristics of integrity, practical logic and tireless dedication to duty make ISTJs a vital core to many families, as well as organizations that uphold traditions, rules and standards, such as law offices, regulatory bodies and military.
ISTP – Bold and practical experimenters, masters of all kinds of tools. I wanted to live the life, a different life. I didn’t want to go to the same place every day and see the same people and do the same job. I wanted interesting challenges.
ESFP– I’m selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can’t handle me at my worst, then you surely don’t deserve me at my best. There’s nothing that makes ESFPs feel quite as unhappy as realizing that they are boxed in by circumstance, unable to join their friends. ESFPs get caught up in the excitement of the moment, and want everyone else to feel that way, too. They are spontaneous, energetic, and fun-loving.
ESFJ- Extraordinarily caring, social and popular people, always eager to help. Encourage, lift and strengthen one another. For the positive energy spread to one will be felt by us all.
ISFP– Flexible and charming artists, always ready to explore and experience something new. I change during the course of a day. I wake and I’m one person, and when I go to sleep I know for certain I’m somebody else.
ISFJ – ISFJs are true altruists, meeting kindness with kindness-in-excess and engaging the work and people they believe in with enthusiasm and generosity.
ENTP– Smart and curious thinkers who cannot resist an intellectual challenge. The ENTP personality type is the ultimate devil’s advocate, thriving on the process of shredding arguments and beliefs and letting the ribbons drift in the wind for all to see. Unlike their more determined Judging (J) counterparts, ENTPs don’t do this because they are trying to achieve some deeper purpose or strategic goal, but for the simple reason that it’s fun.
ENTJ– Our time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.
INTP- Innovative inventors with an unquenchable thirst for knowledge.
INTJ: Imaginative and strategic thinkers, with a plan for everything. It’s lonely at the top, and being one of the rarest and most strategically capable personality types, INTJs know this all too well.
