Friendly Fridays Chapter 61: Winner India’s Next Top Model: Danielle Canute

This week on Friendly Fridays we have with us the winner of “India’s Next Top Model” Danielle Canute.

Danielle was the youngest girl on India’s next top model but she didn’t fail to surprise us with her undying panache and amazing modeling skills. Her humble but cute girl-next-door attitude was attractive from the very beginning of the show but then later her transformation into a glamorous but elegant model made her stand out even more.

So here’s a fun and friendly interview that we had with this cool nineteen-year-old.

    3 (2)

Team ED: How would you describe yourself to a stranger?

Danielle Canute: I’m really shy! Soft spoken is the first thing anyone notices. I laugh way too much and at almost anything. I love being of any help to people. Making someone feel good about themselves is something I love to do.

Team ED: When did you make your decision to enter into the modeling world and how did you work towards it?

Danielle Canute: I got an opportunity to audition for India’s Next Top Model with no modeling experience whatsoever, I took that chance and just enjoyed every moment on the show.

Team ED: How would you describe the Indian modeling industry? What have you learned from all the time you’ve been in this industry?

Danielle Canute: I think the Indian modeling industry is booming right now and models are being given the recognition they deserve for the hard work they put in. I’ve learned that you really need to be strong headed and turn your head away from all the negative people and make the most of the fun, craziness, and wacky things a model gets to do.

1 (1)Team ED: How would you summarize your journey and the aftermath of the experience in “India’s Next Top Model”?

Danielle Canute: It was honestly a rollercoaster ride. I saw a whole new side to myself, someone who actually can do a lot if she just let’s go of her shy side.

Team ED: What projects are you currently working on?

Danielle Canute: I’m currently working on a style series with MTV India.

Team ED: What’s the craziest thing that you have done?

Danielle Canute: I think going for the audition of Indias Next Top Model  with no modeling experience or even a professional picture  and compete with other established models who were way older than me.

Team ED: How many pairs of shoes do you own? (Our female readers would love to know that)

    Danielle:(Laughs). Around 40 pairs! Guilty!

Team ED: If we were to check your browser history, what’s the wackiest thing one could find?

Danielle Canute: Ahh, quick workouts, how to gets abs in a week which never works obviously. #lazyfoodieproblems

Team ED: If you could have a super power which one would you want and why?

Danielle Canute: Invisibility. All access pass, literally to any place one can think of!

Team ED: If a young model were to ask you, what would you like to tell them about the modeling and how to cope with this ever changing industry?

Danielle Canute: Don’t let others bring you down. If you know you can do well in any particular thing just give it your best shot, it’s alright if you fail at least you tried and the best thing is that you’re always going to learn something.

Thank you so much,Danielle, for giving us time. We loved every bit of this Friendly Fridays interview with you.

With that, it’s a wrap of this fun-filled edition of Friendly Fridays. We will be back again next week, with some more fun and friendly chats.

Hope you enjoyed this one as much as we did.

See you again next week, till then, Adios!
