This Week’s News That Were Worth Laughing Your Asses Off

Lots of news happened this week. Some were funny and some were more than funny.

Here is a compilation of all the news piece I found funny and why I found it funny.

Richa Chaddha at Indian Film Festival of Melbourne said this: “… I will have far more in common with Fawad because I am from the North of India than I will have with somebody who is a Tam Brahm or maybe Malayali or from the North East….”  Here’s the video:

And guess what! The Twitteratis lost their shit. Troll after troll, calling her a bimbo, paki and etc, etc. However, Richa replied gracefully to all the trolls.

So having GK of another country makes you an antinationalist? I’m pretty sure these trollers don’t even know the names of all North-Eastern states, leave behind the capitals.

Rio Olympics finally came to an end.

Now people are back to watching Kapil Sharma show and Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai.

    *Awkward Embarrassment*

A man in Odisha carried his wife’s dead body for 10 kilometers as he couldn’t afford a vehicle and the hospital where she died refused to arrange any ambulance. This became a national news.

This proves that a dead body in India can grab more attention than a Hospital which refused an ambulance.

Rio Olympics silver medallist shuttler P V Sindhu and bronze winner grappler Sakshi Malik along with gymnast Dipa Karmakar and badminton coach Pullela Gopichand were gifted BMWs by Hyderabad District Badminton Association.

I have only one question to ask. Where the phuck did a District Badminton Association get sooooo much money??

France banned burkini (a swim suit which covers the entire body) last week. This week, the ban was lifted and women can again choose to wear either of them.

Let’s not lash the France government on this. If Burkini is banned then one can still wear a T-shirt and pyajamas to beaches if they feel uncomfortable. *Indian Jugaad*

FILE - In this Aug.4 2016 file photo made from video, Nissrine Samali, 20, gets into the sea wearing a burkini, a wetsuit-like garment that also covers the head, in Marseille, southern France. France's Socialist prime minister Manuel Valls is expressing support for local bans of burkinis, saying the swimwear is based on the "enslavement of women" and therefore not compatible with French values. Japan’s PM, Shinzo Abe, dressed up as Super Mario in Rio Olympics to promote Tokyo Olympics 2020.

Well, that’s nothing. Here is Narendra Modi promoting Ice Age:

And here he is promoting Jurrasic Park:

That’s it for this week. Hope you found it funnier enough to laugh or smile at least and offensive enough to file an FIR.
