These 6 Episodes Of Koffee With Karan Will Leave You Hysterical With Laughter

Perhaps the most popular chat show India has ever witnessed, Koffee with Karan, is set to return with a bang on 6th November. Now I can finally stop binge watching episodes from the previous season.

Amidst those unprecedented binges, I came across some hilarious moments. It got me thinking, what are the episodes that made me chuckle out the most?

So I came up with this list of all those episodes I believe are the funniest of the lot in case you were wondering which episodes to watch until the next season arrives.

Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan – Season 4

What do you get when you invite three clumsy newcomers to a major chat show? This episode is the answer. And how can we forget the exact moment when Alia Bhatt was labeled as a bimbo?

I will never understand why she went for Prithviraj Chauhan, she might as well have said Shaktimaan. Even the episode, as a whole, was quite humorous and absolutely deserves a spot on this list.

Imran Khan and Ranbir Kapoor – Season 3

Evidently, they just could not keep their hands off each other. Two of the brightest talents (at the time) shot one of the most entertaining episodes.

Let’s just ignore the fact that Imran Khan’s career graph following  the episode is funnier than anything the show has to offer. Maybe he should have just seduced Ranbir and they could have lived happily ever after. Alas, it wasn’t to be.

Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone – Season 4

The ‘Koffee quiz’ segment of this episode had me in splits. Also, Deepika’s expressions throughout the show were pretty humorous.

On the whole, it was an entertaining hour with two of the most successful actresses of the current generation. Just one advice to Priyanka, please decide if you dated Shahid Kapoor or not. I don’t think even he’s sure.

Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone – Season 3

Arguably the most controversial episode of Koffee with Karan, It landed both the participants in hot water. But if you say it wasn’t entertaining, you’d be lying to yourself.

From ripping Shobhaa De to shreds to suggesting condom endorsements to Ranbir Kapoor, it had everything. But the fact that Sonam Kapoor saw a towel-less Ranbir in ‘jab se tere naina’ is pretty disturbing and just wrong. I could have led a long and happy life without knowing that.

Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor – season 4

The pairing of the eccentric newcomers had hilarious results. Their energy was contagious. Sadly, that was the last time Arjun was in anything good. (including Sonakshi Sinha)

They should stick to appearing together in chat shows, considering the debacle that Gunday was. The nightmare aside, the episode was one of the best till date. Let’s hope they return together next season.

Shahrukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukherji – Season 2

    sk

Hands down the funniest till date. Honestly, Kajol and Rani might as well have been replaced with a tape of the audience laughing and it still wouldn’t have made a difference.

It was Shahrukh who stole the show. His wit and humour are unsurpassed in Bollywood and this episode is proof of why. If you haven’t watched it already, I suggest it’s the first thing you do and thank me later.

That’s enough for reminiscence, we’re on the brink of a newer and hopefully better season. Just set that countdown to the 6th of November.
